I don't usually do this, post my poems on the web, for fear of someone not liking them, but right now, I could care no less what everyone thinks, this poem is a good presentation of how I feel about a certain person in my life. And I would like to share it with those of you who care enough to read it.....
Tell me friend, are you willing to bend
Compromise for sin, can you ever mend
What you’re breaking now
And become heaven bound
Or will you sell your living hell
As your eternal sanctuary
Time will tell will you fall to frown
Will you call my name once you’re down?
Many of your words, all say the same, pity, pity and shame
Time will tell will you fall and drown
Will you call my name while you’re down?
Your paper thin walls are wearing you thin
Forbid you face your sin
Ignore the pain; see straight to your gain
Knowing in your heart who carries the blame
The weight on your shoulders bearing down
Time will tell will you fall to frown
Will you call my name once you’re down?
Many of your words, all the same, pity, pity and shame
Time will tell will you fall and drown
Will you scream my name while you’re down?
